About our home

Our home is located on Douglas Island, which is connected by a bridge to downtown Juneau, Alaska. Our house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The yard is fenced and has a playground in it. The backyard is fenced for our dog, and white german shepherd. We also have a hottub on the back deck. We are within walking distance to the historical Treadwell Mine trail, and Sandy Beach.

Our neighourhood is very friendly, with a mix of children, and some retired people. We are within walking distance to hiking trails, the beach and harbor, a public library, the Treadwell Arena (for iceskating and hockey), baseball fields, a gas station, 2 restaurants, the post office. There is public transportation nearby as well. Our home boast views of the water, and scenic mountains, as well as downtown Juneau.

We are a Christian family, married over 12 years with 5 children from the ages of 12 down to 1. We homeschool our children and are very active in our local Church. I own a full service travel agency and my husband drives a truck for fuel delivery service. We speak English only. We have 1 dog, a german shepherd.
