About our home

This cottage is only a few steps to an INCREDIBLE beach which is absolutely glorious and pristine. Wonderful for walking, gazing, snorkling, swimming or sunbathing, the beach is often vacant, don't be surprised to find you have it all to yourself.

The cottage has 2 bdrms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with 2 twins that can be joined to make a king, one full bath (with a tub/shower). It is situated on a full 1/4 acre which allows for breathing space and quiet.

Although NOT a fancy house, you will find it comfortable, charming, and clean. The value of this home is it's location. (A neighbors home rents for $500 per night.)

More about us

  1. This lovely cottage is the home I share with two cool cats. (Cat lovers only need apply as you will be charged with their care.)

If you are interested in exchange, you must offer a location that has a INCREDIBLE "WOW factor", as this location is a 11 on a scale of 10.

P.S. Please note I'm building two rental units on the back of my large lot and will be busy with that project until Spring '09. I'm open to planning ahead if you are :0)

    Peace and aloha
    Auntie Lulu

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Located in a very quiet residential area, but it has everything you might want and need! Waimanalo Bay provides access to all the water sports the Hawaiian islands have to offer: boating, sailing, windsurfing, snorkling, scuba, body surfing, boogie boarding and just quiet sunbathing. The Koolau mountains provide excellent walking, hiking, and climbing opportunities. Honolulu is only 20 minutes away where world-class restaurants, activities and shopping can be enjoyed as you wish. Close-by amenities can be conveniently found in Kailua or Hawaii Kai (both 15 minutes away).
