About our home
Keyport is small village on a peninsula in Liberty Bay. Walk 1/2 block for lunch at our local Mercantile, homemade food with al fresco waterfront dining. Walk 2 blocks to Whiskey Creek Steak House featured on Food Network December 2012 for dinner or lunch. Walk the beach and search for clams, starfish, crabs, bald eagles, and more. Have wine on the balcony and watch the yachts head into to Poulsbo, charming Norwegian village just 15 minute drive away.
Only 35 minute ferry ride to downtown Seattle every hour. 1 1/2 hour drive to Olympic National Forest. Visit the Ho Rain forest, Forks - the home of Twilight's Vampires. Explore Puget Sound. Ferries to Seattle, islands of Puget Sound or British Columbia.
The house is warm and comfy family home, 2000 square feet. 3 bedrooms, office, great room. Large deck with lounging furniture and dining table and propane BBQ. water views from most rooms. (all except 2nd guest bedroom and guest bath)
We are retired and have another home in Sonoma County CA, so could accomdate many times for the exchange. The house in Cloverdale, CA the heart of the Russian River, Alexander Valley wine country is also available for swaps.
