We have two homes, one in the United States and one in Costa Rica. Both are available for a home exchange. We spend all winter and summer in Costa Rica, three months at a time. Our home in Costa Rica is on the northern Nicoya peninsula and is very beautiful and private, with neighbors set apart on a lush hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Our home in the states is in a quiet neighborhood with access to all shopping and biking everywhere, within five minutes from our three bedroom home. Traditional brick home, with large modern kitchen, large hearth room and fireplace off of the kitchen area, large new flat-screen T.V. in the open family room.
Nice neighbors on both sides of our house. This is our first time to try a home exchange.
Nice safe and quiet neighborhood, both in the United States and in our Costa Rica home. Quiet walking to everywhere. Great neighbors on all sides! Young families four houses away in our St. Louis home in the states, and nice neighbors on our hillside in Costa Rica. Fantastic views in our Costa Rican home, with our house still new, five years old. New appliances, very comfortable accommodations. Great restaurants and a Swiss-French bakery near our Costa Rica home, with popular surfing beaches nearby.
My husband and I are retired, early, and spend half of our lives in Costa Rica and half in the U.S. My husband is an accountant and owns commercial real estate in Costa Rica and the states, and I practiced Interior Design for years before changing careers to go into business in the Plant Nursery/Horticulture field. We both speak Spanish and continue to study it every morning! We have two grown children, both boys, not married. Our families still all live in the St. Louis area, close to our homes. We enjoy tennis, gardening, exercising, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Also music and movie watching. Avid readers as well, and politically active.
