Norris Lake has 800 miles of shoreline and a surface area of 34,000 acres. The water is a beautiful bluegreen color and amazingly clear. The neighborhood has a golf course and an airstrip. It is an hour from whitewater rafting, hiking, biking and horseback riding in some of the country's most beautiful parks. If you are up for shopping, Knoxville is only an hour away also.
“Our second stay…This house is perfect and I did not think it could be better equipped but now she has a coffee maker from heaven. It was just my husband and I but this would be a wonderful spot for large families, unbelievable cleaver use of space through out the house. The decorating is impeccable. Not one but two washer and dryers. Such attention to every detail.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed Amanda’s lakefront home on beautiful lake Norris. You really feel at home there and we had everything we needed for cooking meals in her well equipped kitchen. It would be a great spot for a family vacation as there are so many water activities for all to enjoy. My husband and I loved hiking on various trails in the area and would have liked to stay longer to explore some of the area waterfalls. Amanda is a kind and communicative host and the swapping process was so smooth and easy.”

“We loved this house and this location! The location in particular was amazing if you like swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, renting boats and basically spending time on the water! Our kids just had a blast. We spend most days just on or by the lake. The house isn't near restaurants or other 'stuff' like that but that isn't what we were doing there, we were relaxing and enjoying each others company. Renting a boat and going to other marina's was super fun too. Amanda the host was super helpful and friendly, all in all we felt so lucky to have had this vacation! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the house is easy to relax in and use.”

“Amanda has a beautiful and comfortable lake home. It is spotlessly clean, perfectly quiet, beautifully designed and decorated. The layout is perfect for a group but not too large for just the two of us. This house looks very accessible for someone with limited mobility. There is MUCH to enjoy just on one level. We went in early spring when the trees were just leafing out, and it was gorgeous and relaxing, far away from the rest of the world. The home has everything. There is no cell service but the wifi is good. Call Amanda (from the house phone) if you can't get it to work. She is very responsive. Don't buy water; the tap water is cold and delicious! Thank you Amanda, for our serene long weekend.”
“This was a lovely community made up of single family homes and condos in a scenic and rural part of Tennesee.. We had a view of the lake and a large screened porch, The home was comfortable with modern appliances and very clean. Lots of windows added to the feeling of spaciousness. We found museums, parks and quaint towns to visit. Great hiking trails with varying terrains. The people that we met along the way were friendly and helpful. Amanda was readily available to answer questions and offer suggestions. This would be a wonderful swap for families as the home is large and there are many outdoor activities available. We totally enjoyed exploring this part of Tennessee, going to the marinas that surrounded the lake and we felt lucky to have such a beautiful place to rest our heads in the evening. ”

“We had a very nice stay at this house. It was an amazing opportunity to use points to stay at a house that usually rents for $400/night. It was spacious, well equipped, we enjoyed the deck and swimming in the lake, we rented boats nearby and had a relaxing time. The owners are very nice and easy to deal with. Thank you!”

“We hiked The Cumberland Gap, Sat around the fire with a guitar, rented a pontoon and went tubing, cooked together in this gorgeous gourmet kitchen, played pool, fished, relaxed, read, and laughed a whole ton! What an amazing adventure we had! Our teenagers kept saying, "We are so lucky". And they were!!!!”

“The girls enjoyed hours of swimming and diving off the dock. We all had fun playing pool together. The thrill of jumping off the Cedar Creek bridge for the brave ones. You really do not have to leave the community to have a great time. ”

“The house is not only amazing but it is on a stunning clean lake surrounded by green forest. The people of tennessee couldn't be nicer. You don't ever have to get in your car. Every day we just got in our boat and went to the different marinas for ice cream, wings, margarita's, music and sunsets. ”
