About our home

Our inviting and comfortable home was completely remodeled in 2011. Featuring a large kitchen w/ eat in bar, dining room, laundry room, living room, large master w/ jacuzzi tub in master bath, and south facing view deck for fabulous sunsets every night!

The master bedroom has a king bed, with a separate walk in closet and tv and features a private full bath w/ shower or tub.

The guest bedroom features a trundle bed which can be made into a queen bed or used as separate twin beds.

There is a second full bathroom with walk in shower for use by guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and spices. There is a gas grill and a smoker on the view deck for you foodies!

We are located in the quaint village of La Mesa, just 15 minutes from downtown San Diego. La Mesa boasts antique stores, several restaurants and coffee shops, a library, two major grocery stores, and lots of other little shops all within a 10 min. walk.

San Diego has major attractions such as Balboa Park with it's many museums, The San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. The California coast has beautiful beaches like Ocean Beach, Mission Beach and La Jolla as well as local fishing off of Point Loma, and the Torrey Pines National Park. These are all within 20 to 45 minutes away by car. We are also only a 10 minute walk to the trolley, and 5 minutes to the bus line. We may be willing to trade for the use of our vehicle.

To the North-East in the mountains about one hour away, sits Julian, an old mining town and another hour beyond is Palm Springs and the Anza Borrego Desert. Idyllwild is a lovely mountain town that sits above Palm Springs Desert and is about a 2 hour drive.

North of us about 2 hours is the major city of Los Angeles. You can visit Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and Magic Mountain, as well as all that Hollywood and Los Angeles have to offer. Las Vegas is a 6 hour drive and San Francisco and 8 hour drive.

San Diego's climate is one of the finest in the world, offering an average temperature of about 70 degrees. For beach goers you will want to come between June and September.

Quiet suburban neighborhood sitting atop the hill overlooking La Mesa Village. Beautiful custom homes and great walking on the "Secret Stairs" that wind to the top of the hill. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. You can hear the trolley at night when it is very quiet.
