About our home

Craftsman architecture with contemporary Zen ambiance. Numerous amenities include: reclaimed hickory hardwood flooring, custom art glass front door & transom, sophisticated Lutron lighting system, Cat 5 wiring for high speed internet (ethernet ports) located throughout the house plus wifi for mobile devices, concrete tile roof and copper gutters, natural stone siding, Master suite with viewing balcony accessed by double French doors opens to highly appointed master bath with stainless steel sinks, abalone tile backsplash, and heated tumbled marble tile floors, steam shower and Bain Ultra air jet spa style free standing tub. Master bedroom also has 40 inch plasma TV and DVD player. Professional kitchen with 8 burner Wolf pro gas range, subzero, Scotsman ice maker, 2 Bosch dishwashers, custom Italian cabinetry, custom fossil limestone and stainless steel counters and concrete floors. Entertainer's backyard offers a slate patio, saltwater pebble tech pool and spa with a waterfall feature all automated from inside the home. There is an audiophile's stereo system in the great room downstairs as well as a fully restored 1921 Knabe semi concert grand piano. The living room features a 40 inch plasma TV home theater system. My son uses it also for his Xbox entertainment. This home comfortably handles our family of 5 with the 2 girls rooms sharing a bathroom with a separate shower and tub and the boy's room with a private bath. More guests are readily accomodated in the living room either on the 2 sofas or the inflatable queen bed we keep handy for our children's friends when they sleep over.

This home is in a tranquil, private, gate guarded neighborhood on the ocean side of Pacific Coast highway in Laguna Beach about 1 mile south of the famous Montage Resort. We live just across the street from the community park and clubhouse that includes 2 tennis courts, tot lot, basketball court and picnic/party area.

As this is a private gate-guarded community by the beach, access to the beach is therefore limited to residents and guests. The beach is only accessible by sea or our 2 main pedestrian stairways. There is no public access by foot due to the rocky cliffs ringing the beach. The beach is pristene and very secluded due the nature of the local coastline topography. The walk down to the beach is short and all downhill. Beware, you need to carry everything back up the steps that you bring to the beach except your trash. This is why most residents will cheerfully make friends on the beach and share their wine and food quite often with friends and neighbors. It beats carrying it all home!

Originally subdivided in the 1930's, the neighborhood maintains much of the original charm and intimacy it has always had. Three Arch Bay also has a strong family orientation with summer activities for children, private 4th of July fireworks each year, the famous Labor Day Games for children and families, and social events throughout the year for adults. In the summer, the City of Laguna Beach provides free bus service all over town that can be accessed just outside the entrance to our community.

The beach pictures included here are all of Three Arch Bay. The sunset view of Catalina Island is taken from the street immediately in front of our home.
