About our home

Hi there! We recently relocated from the San Francisco bay area to our dream home in Laguna Niguel California. We're experienced home swappers and are excited to invite you to stay in our completely remodeled home just 8 minutes from Salt Creek beach in Dana Point. Upstairs is the extra large master suite (King) with its own bathroom and two additional rooms (each with two twins) that share one full bathroom. Downstairs is the office with a Murphy bed that pulls down from the wall and has its own full bathroom.

Modern Chef's kitchen with farm style kitchen sink under atrium-style windows. Gas burning stove on the oversized kitchen island, with 5 stools for casual eating. All connected to family room with large sectional and 65" 4k tv. The great room has custom iron staircase with a modern leather sofa and lounge chairs. Dining table is set to feed 6 but can be extended to feed 12. Outside sectional sofa surrounds a propane fire pit next to built-in Kitchen-Aid BBQ. Outdoor dining table and large grass yard.

You're also welcome to use our 4 boogie boards, a surf-board, stand-up paddle board, and beach chairs/umbrella.

We hope you have a great time in beautiful Laguna Niguel and look forward to exchanging homes with you.

Where is it?

We have tons of beach stuff in the garage you can use. Chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. we have a beach parking pass we will leave on the counter that will get you free parking at Salt Creek & Aliso.

Hose - the hose in the front yard by the gate is good for washing sand off feet, wetsuits, boards, after the beach.

Favorite beaches:

Salt Creek Beach - our favorite! This is our closest beach, it has the best waves for surfing/boogie boarding. The hill is a hike, but worth it! We also love just hanging out on the grassy area.

Aliso Beach Park - super easy parking, walk straight out to the sand. The waves are rough here so it’s not good for boogie boarding, but good for skim boarding. There is also a playground right on the sand!

Treasure island/montage - the most beautiful beach! Not good for boogie boarding, but my kids love the tide pools here.

Doheny - the best beach for beginner surfers in Dana point. Sand is rough & it’s rocky in the water, but this is where everyone goes to learn to surf.

Baby beach - just a sandy spot in the harbor, no waves but really easy with little kids. Good spot for paddle boarding.

Linda lane - our favorite beach down in San Clemente. The waves are small so it’s perfect for little kids & beginner boogie boarders & surfers. Bring quarters for meters cuz parking can fill up. There’s also a playground on the grass here.

T street - another good San Clemente beach for surfing & boogie boarding. Parking can be tough here, bring quarters for meters.
