About our home

Our house was built in 1988, nothing fancy just a single family residence in a quiet neighborhood.
It has 3 bdrms 2 baths, garage, TV, phone, computer, car use, rv parking, private pool with privacy wall...(skinny dipp'n o.k. :)
Private patio lush with plants and a TV for you viewing pleasure with coffee in the morning.
I have two dogs..a beagle and a shar pei mix (he's old).
Amazing sites to see just look up Lake Havasu City, Arizona up on the internet.
The 2011 movie Piranaha 3D was filmed here.
We're 2 1/2 hrs from Las Vegas and 3 hrs from Pheonix.
I will try to put up pix of the house later as at this time I do not have any.
The winters are amazing here and Sept to May is a Retired couples paradise, they come from all over the world to spend their winters here.
June to Aug is very warm and can get up to 120 degrees and muggy.
We have the most amazing electrical storms then ...an enjoyable and crazy sight!!
I love being on the lake in the summer...soooo many people with very large boats! We rode in a 30ft vrod boat this last April running at 130+ mph...yaaahoo!!!!...I've never seen this kind of activity on any lake, ocean or river ever!!!

Great 4 wheeling or motorcycle riding..dirt or road...classic car events all the time, great watersports and events... The World Finals for Jetski and watercraft are here every Oct and the Western Region Pyrotechnic Competition (Firework Displays) every Presidents Weekend. The Desert Storm Poker Run with Cigerette Boats (some have turbine engines) race every April (This one is amazing!!! a must see!!) as well as Spring Break from March to April...interesting to say the least!!.
Every Memorial and Labor Day weekend creates a boat "traffic jam" in the channel at the famous London Bridge..you've never seen anything like this..you can look this up on the internet as well...so a litte something for everyone!...I love it here!!

Neighborhood is very safe..never had any issues. We're only 3 miles to the Lake launch ramp and same to the city airport. There are lake views everywhere while driving around Lake Havasu as there are no homesites built on the lake so everyone can enjoy the view :)
I walk around the block, but there are plenty of places for nature walks with bird and animal reserves/sancuaries everywhere here..kayaking and paddleboarding abound here to enjoy the nature. The fishing is great, they hold fishing tournaments here often.
The sunsets here are incredible! There are wild burro and bighorn sheep in our mountains and on the river..I've seen them while boating up to Laughlin on the Colorado River. I'ts only about 40 to 50 miles up Laughlin Nevada is great Gambling Town.
Lake Havasu Ave. runs the length of the city, you can find anything from there...My salon in on Lake Havasu Ave, the city government in on there, the Hospital is 3 miles away...so is London Bridge. The opisite way towards the airport is a Mall with Walmart, Dillards, JCPenny, Petsmart and a very nice theater....and we have a Curves...yeah!

I own a salon here in town, my husband is in construction and is now working out of town. We've been married for 26 years an have two kids who are grown and out of the house and have homes of their own.
Friends are easy to make here...I've been here over two years and I have quite a few new friends and am amazed at how many I meet...it seems everyone wants to keep in touch..wether they live here or are visiting.
I only speak English...of course I wish I could speak another language but I don't :(

We are native Californians, but we have decided we are over it and all the crazy politics and tooooo many people, rules and regulations!
Arizona is a beautiful State, completely different than anything elsewhere! We are always finding out about unusual birds, animals ..bugs, the climate..we have snowcapped mountains and scorching hot deserts! Desert tortises, and the state bird..the wonderful Roadrunner...wild pigs and gila monsters...never a dull moment if you wish to explore.
In the spring the flowers go crazy!!!....I just thought they were weeds until they blossom in the spring..WOW!
You'll not be sorry visiting Lake Havasu wether you stay at our house or anywhere else...it's definatley worth the visit!

We are in our 50's and want to explore the world. My husband use to be a deputy sheriff and I have been a stylist for over 30 yrs. We appreciate what we have and we will appreciate what you have worked for all these years as well.
Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy what each of us has to offer!
