“We spent two wonderful weeks in this family’s house at Vijfhuizen. The house is light, modern, clean and very comfortable. The friendly garden with the playground is really extra for children and the terrace very sheltered. The beaches are at only 15 minutes from the house. We really loved discover Haarlem and surroundings by bike: it’s a beautiful city with beautiful canals, wonderful houses and so nice for the shopping ! There are also many parks and playgrounds everywhere in Holland. It’s a paradise for children! Holland is a beautiful and charming country: we visited so many beautiful towns and cities and loved landscapes with windmills and canals. We were also struck by the kindness of the neighbors and of Claire and Jeroen, who left us a very clean house, and beautiful drawing from Benthe at our arrival at home in Brittany. We want to thank this friendly family for this perfect house swap, which made us very eager to do many other exchanges.”

“During may holiday 2014 we spent a lovely holiday for a week at Vijfhuizen in the home of Jeroen, Claire and Benthe. We met before to exchange the keys, have a coffee and share some information. That was very nice! We had a wonderful week at their bright and comfortable home and enjoyed their recepies, fully equipped kitchen and bikes. The common garden is perfect for our little children. While sitting on the porch you can watch the children play with the neighbour children. We met a lot of neighbours in this week and received lots of tips to visit. Once we returned, we found our home perfectly clean and some handmade cakes in the freezer.”
“We spent a very nice week in Claire and Jeroen's house this winter. They have a lovely typical wooden house, clean and comfortable in a very quiet environment. From there, we went to Haarlem, Amsterdam, the beaches of the North Sea. We used their car, as well as public transportation (very easy), and the children specially appreciated their cargo bike. But the more important is that they are very friendly people, thoughtful and they did everything to make us feel at home during the exchange. We were in contact by e-mail and phone messages before, during and after the exchange to help each other to find everything in the houses. For our first exchange, we couldn't find better! Elodie and Guillem”
“We had a brilliant stay in Claire and Jerones house. I could make a long list over positive things. Here are some of them: lovely house, very friendly and helpful neighbours, beautiful surroundings, visits to Harleem and Amsterdam, bikes so the whole family can get around, close to the airport, good public transport etc. The most important thing to mention, is the family of the house, who we had a chance to meet. They were so nice to us and we were in contact during the stay. Helping out each other with recommendations and stuff. They left our home spick and span.”
“We had a very nice stay in the house of Claire and Jeroen to celebrate Queen's day. I enjoyed the espresso machine, Maartje read all the 'flow' magazines and Noah liked the mini vacuum cleaner!? and the big garden where he could play with the other children. Beautiful wooden house to give you the real holiday sensation in a laid-back and green environment. Haarlem by the way is one of those typically cosy Dutch cities where you can enjoy strolling through the narrow streets and old neighbourhoods. Very much a recommendation for home exchange!”
