About our home

We offer a condominium that is open, light, warm and very comfortable. Our home is spacious, warm and very quiet. We have two balconies for outdoor seating and BBQ cooking. All windows in the condo have splendid views of the beautiful Willamette River. Just below us is River Road, a walking path that follows the river for miles. Being here is like living in a tree house! We are a very easy 10 minute walk into the village of Lake Oswego. Public transportation is just 1/2 block from us. The bus takes you into Lake Oswego or directly into the heart of Portland's down town.
We have two swimming pools and a wonderful gym for exercise.

More about us

  1. We are Richard and Carl. We are both retired teachers who enjoy traveling. Richard's love is creating pottery and watercolors. Carl's loves are music and Opera. We both enjoy our quiet condominium, the views from all the windows and also the time we spend outside on our two balconies. We both love the sun, snorkeling, exploring, cooking, and singing.

Neighbourhood

Our home is located in a suburb of Portland. We are only 20 minutes from downtown Portland, yet far enough away that the property remains very quiet and secluded. We are one block from transportation to downtown Portland and a very easy walk to the village of Lake Oswego. In Lake Oswego one will find a wonderful variety of shops and good restaurants. Just nearby is Rogers Park with play equipment for children and a picnic area. We are just above Old Rive Road, a walking trail that follows the Willamette River for miles. Portland is located 90 minutes from the Oregon Coast, and 60 minutes from Mt. Hood with excellent winter skiing. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival Theater is located in southern Oregon and operates an outdoor theater in the summer months. Portland is know nationally for its fine restaurants, theaters and art museum.
