About our home

My home on a centrally located street in the middle of Lakewood, Ohio, the closest inner-ring suburb to downtown Cleveland. Lakewood is a family-friendly Victorian suburb, minutes from downtown - a great location for exploring Cleveland without being in the city. The house is in walking distance of Lake Erie and the great shops and restaurants in Lakewood. We are one half hour from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Cleveland Science Center, the Cleveland Museum of Art (free admission), the Aquarium and the new convention center. Niagara Falls is three hours east and Amish Country is an hour's drive south.

The house is a 10 room, two bathroom house that comfortably sleeps four, with plenty of room for more if people want to sleep on the couch, floors, etc. Built in 1910, the house is a beautiful wood frame with charming original details and newly renovated touches, including a new kitchen, central air conditioning, and a quiet and well-tended garden. A perfect place for a family taking in the sights of Cleveland, visiting relatives in the city's western suburbs, or just looking for a simple retreat.
