About our home

Come visit the Pacific Northwest's stunning beauty and stay in our delightful, updated historic home set on 3 acres in a lovely mountain pastoral view setting. Our 2100 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is close to the village, where restaurants, spa, bike or kayak rentals, and Holly B's renown bakery await you. Centrally located, the house is close to pristine beaches, breathtaking hikes, shops, galleries, vineyard, museum, farmer's market, and all the village hub has to offer. Children and families welcome, the home also works well as a couple's special retreat. Washington State Ferry connects Lopez Island to Friday Harbor, Orcas Island, or Sydney, B.C., from which you can visit Victoria or Butchart Gardens with an overnight stay, or go whale watching. The magical San Juan Islands are on many travel writers' lists of top ten places to visit. Our property includes a separate guest cottage that is not included in the exchange. We hope you will find it to be the perfect getaway to relax, have some new adventures and surround yourself with the spectacular Pacific Northwest nature.

Features

More about us

  1. We're retired...a former pilot and public health attorney. Parents of adult children who live in France, and on the East and West Coasts in the U.S., we enjoy traveling by ourselves and with family members.

  2. We would like to visit Portland Oregon in July 2015.

  3. We love being casual and comfortable and our home reflects this. We are open to swaps that are and are not simultaneous, and offer our Lopez home in the height of the prime season, from June through August. We will take wonderful care of your home.
