About our home

We generally have availability to travel either in the summer when our kids are out of school. Kids in California start their summer break in June a month ahead of the UK or occasionally at Christmas.

This year we only have from June 24th - July 4th (maybe a one or two day flexibility) The reality is we are governed by the exorbitant airline prices during that time period. Our trips are generally to London because that is where I'm from originally.

If that does change it will be noted on here.

If any of that suits you our two story House is in the beautiful and famous Hollywood Hills, built in 1927 is part of the original Hollywoodland property development (responsible for the 'Hollywood' sign, which originally read 'Hollywoodland' and was part of the real estates advertising)

We are in the Temple Hills area of Hollywood, once considered the most spiritual area of Southern California which brought many of the famous actors of the 20's and 30's to the area. Charlie Chaplin's Temple Hill mansion, Bela Lugosi's original house, Fred Astaire's Dance Studio and Humphrey Bogart's cottage are all within a 5 minute walk from us. The Hollywood sign can be seen every time you drive up Beachwood Canyon on the way home.

The house is 2800 square feet and is on on two levels with a two car garage and a washer/dryer in the basement.

We have a housekeeper, Nelly, who comes once every two weeks but is available to come more often at an additional charge.

We also offer use of our car a Ford Flex SUV.

We are situated just up the road from the main part of Hollywood Blvd where Mann's Chines Theatre is located and the famous 'Hollywood Walk Of Fame'. We have a wonderful view of the Griffith Park Observatory, Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. we are also close to Lake Hollywood, The Hollywood Bowl and the Dolby Theatre (formerly the Kodak Theatre) where the Academy Awards are held as well as Silver Lake and Echo Park.

We are conveniently close to the 101 Freeway which takes you to Downtown in one direction and Santa Monica and Malibu in the other.

Our street is small and quiet but still close to restaurants and shops
