About our home

The original house has been designed by Donald Perry Polsky, FAIA in the late fifties (Polsky worked for Richard Neutra from 1953 to 1956). An extension designed by Jeffrey Eyster, AIA has been added in 2008.
The house is a stunning example of an updated post and beam.
The 3,000 square feet house is located in the Laurel Canyon Area, a block south of Mulholland Drive in a quiet cul-de-sac. The exposure and the architecture maximize the natural light and openings to the outdoor. The spectacular entrance through a glass door gives on a hallway with an indoor pool and fountain with a massive balzate stone
and a gallery where modern art is exposed.
The gallery opens on a large living space divided in three areas, namely the dining room, the living room and a family room providing a large space for entertaining with integrated hi-fi system.
All the outside walls are glass panels or sliding windows accentuating
the seamless connection between indoors and outdoors.
The division of the floor plans into three distinctive areas provide
absolute privacy to the master bedroom, its attached bathroom,
an office and an additional bedroom and its bathroom.
The third part of the house includes a large studio for guests, which can accomodate four people with a bathroom.
The house has been built with the finest material and furnished with japanese antiques and unique european designed pieces.
The kitchen is equipped with a 48 inches professional range by Thermador, a Bosch dishwasher and a Subzero refrigerator.
The garden adds to the zen feelings emerging from the house and absolute privacy with trees and large grass areas.

The sleek and pure lines of the house and its most desirable location provide an ultimate heaven in the Hollywood Hills for those looking for privacy with proximity to the city.
