About our home

We are on a leafy street with Spanish-style homes and within a few blocks of high end restaurants, shopping, and sights. Local retail includes Children's Book World, Westfield Century City mall, and local or gourmet grocery stores. Rancho Park and public golf course is a 5 minute walk with a 2 mile perimeter walking trail. The park has baseball diamonds, kids playground, tennis courts, basketball courts to satisfy that urge to move about. Within a five minute drive is Beverly Hills with Rodeo Drive, Sprinkles cupcakes, the Polo Lounge, and Bel Air. Five minutes north is Century City with gourmet Gelson's grocery store, high end outdoor shopping, restaurants and entertainment; the UCLA campus along with Westwood Village, many Persian, and French restaurants. Santa Monica and Malibu beaches are a 15 minute drive to the west.
We have light rail train within a 15 minute walk that takes you west to Santa Monica beach or east to Downtown LA.
Light rail east to downtown LA - with its ample nightlife, incredible restaurants, Broad Museum, Disney Concert Hall, Ahmanson Theater, Mark Taper, iconic City Hall, and high rise hotels with breathtaking views of the Los Angeles valley.
The light rail also travels west and drops you one block from Santa Monica beach and the Third Street Promenade with its dizzying array of restaurants, shops and public open spaces.
We are one block from family friendly Italian, the historic Apple Pan, Korean barbeque, sushi, Brazilian steakhouse, and more. Westwood is the center of the Little Persia neighborhood with many restaurants, markets and shops.
Our home was recently renovated and features steel sculpture throughout blending with the historic features of this 1929 Mission Revival home. Our updated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, cesarstone counters, and a breakfast nook. Modern glass top tables are easy to clean. The dining and living room are cosy and comfy with streaming TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBO Max. Cable TV is on three TV sets in the master bedroom, guest bedroom and living room. The grand master bedroom features a king sized bed, deluxe bathroom with double headed shower with excellent pressure. The 8-person jacuzzi is just outside the master bedroom. Our daughter's bedroom is a girl's delight with stars that light up on the walls. The guest room is an oasis of music with an electronic piano, whimsical seating, and a top of the line premium sofabed. An all chalk wall is a delight for young and old to express their feelings. The backyard has been landscaped with several seating areas including 8 person teak table, custom powdercoated steel four seater and multiple other seating areas scattered throughout the yard. The backyard has a large mural of the Hollywood sign and hills, and two artistic fire pits beckoning you outside to enjoy the warm weather. The garage is now a workspace with long table desk, WiFi, and full refrigerator, tennis racquets and balls. Willing to allow use of Rav 4 SUV with prior agreement. There is parking on the street with permits for two cars available.
