About our home
This is a 1200 square ft (110 m2) space. We have a flatscreen TV in every room and lots of extras such as being gated and security monitored, a huge private veranda with a giant gas grill, three swimming pools (one directly below us), three gyms, racquetball courts, basketball courts (indoor and outdoor), jacuzzis (even one on the roof), laundry on site (can be taken via an on-site service or done yourself), many business rooms and game rooms and it's blocks away from many of the main tourist attractions such as Universal studios (4 blocks), Hollywood walk of fame (1 mile), Griffith Park and the Hollywood sign (1 mile) and just 20 minutes to many amazing beaches.
We are on a residential street but we are at the center of everything. There is a grocery store just across from us, and our neighborhood is full of runners and joggers on our tree lined street.
We LOVE California, and definitely make use of all that she has to offer. We will leave our photo album of places we've seen along with addresses. Also, my new Prius is available for use and has a built in voice activated, GPS.

More about us
I'm a chemistry professor, he is a digital artist. We don't have kids or pets. We are not smokers.
We love movies (it's why we live where we do :) and we have a projected movie system.
We would love to visit Paris, France but we are open to all new adventures!
Spago, Chateau Marmont and Dan Tana's are great for celebrity spotting, have a martini at Musso and Frank's and get a glimpse of old Hollywood, check out Koi for more celeb-spotting and some of California's best sushi, or just walk down the street to one of our own great Sushi spots.
Cool bars
The Viper Room, Red Lion Tavern, Tam O'Shanter, Library Bar, Sheddy's, OB Bear, The Village Idiot...too many to list!
Cozy cafés
Los Angeles is a creative town first and foremost and our cafes are never-ending. For breakfast try the beautiful gardens of Aroma which is just a mile away, for great coffee and a glimpse of the next up and coming rock band head to Intelligentsia in Silverlake and for a quick coffee on-the-go walk less than a block to the coffeehouse behind you.
Retail therapy
Rodeo Drive is 8 miles away, but Ventura (which is a block away) has EVERY major American store as well as many great vintage shops for clothes, music and books. This area is known for it's nightlife and shopping and therefore is extremely safe at all hours of the day or night.
Bit of culture
LA has more museums and theaters than any U.S. city, and a thriving music and gallery scene. An LA Philharmonic performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall is a must-see, as well as an outdoor concert at the Hollywood Bowl and shows at other famous music venues. LA’s world class museums include the stunning Getty Center in Brentwood and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Museum Row. All within 10 miles of your stay.
Walks in the park
Griffith park is within walking distance and the park covers 4,310 acres of land, making it one of the largest urban parks in North America. It has also been referred to as the Central Park of Los Angeles, but is much larger and more untamed and rugged than its New York City counterpart. Here is where you will find the Los Angeles observatory, the hollywood sign and the famous Greek theatre as well as never-ending trails of wilderness that lead to heights which give you a 360 degree view of the Los Angeles Urban sprawl.
Spot of exercise
3 gyms here! But our favorite thing to do at a Los Angeles beach is a walk or a run, especially in the lively South Bay beach towns - Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. We always find lots of other active folks out and about - and plenty of great beachfront homes to envy. It's a unique part of the Los Angeles lifestyle.
Day tripping
You'll find all kinds of beaches around LA - active ones lined with volleyball nets, quiet and natural spots, places to have a meal or take a nap on the sand. Every few miles, a pier juts out into the ocean, often in spots that the surfers love. Want to see the ocean and ski in the same day? You can do that here, just go from Big Bear's famous mountains to Malibu's famous sea caves and then head back home for a show at the famous Hollywood Bowl.
