About our home

This is in a four-unit building designed by Rudolph Schindler in 1939. Schindler was Frank Lloyd Wright's protege. It sits roughly 3/4 of the way up a hill just northwest of Sunset Boulevard, and has an amazing 180 degree view of Los Angeles. The unit is sparsely decorated, and has a small kitchen with no dishwasher that is very much original (read: not renovated), but there's plenty of All Clad cookware. Overall it's an incredible apartment in an historic building. The apartment is 750 sq ft, the deck is 600 sq ft. The deck has a lot of plants, a BBQ and a propane heater if it gets chilly. Couples welcome. Pets welcome. Washer/dryer in the kitchen. WiFi, cable TV with HBO and Showtime, plus a Roku box for Netflix and Amazon video on demand.

The neighborhood is filled with amazing restaurants and places to have drinks -- many of which you can walk to. There's a weekly farmers market just down the hill on Saturday mornings. Easy access to the 101, 110, 5, 134, and 2 freeways. Three major supermarkets within a mile. One of the few remaining single screen theaters, the Vista, is 8 blocks up Sunset.

  2. I studied art history (mostly photography) and love that I get to live in an architecturally significant building.

  3. I went to law school and practiced entertainment law for a while, but not anymore.
