About our home

Cozy one bedroom apartment in Greenwich Village with queen-sized bed in bedroom and queen-sized sleeper couch in living room that sleeps two. The apartment is on the same block as the Path train (a station the block) and within easy walking distance of the 1,2,3, A,C,E,B,D,F,M,L,N,Q,R,4,5, and 6 subway lines. Within easy walking distance also, are many restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, and night life. It really is an ideal location.

I completely renovated the kitchen in my apartment in 2007. Elia Kazan, the famous play and movie director, once lived in my apartment and kept his Oscar for 'On the Waterfront" on the bookcase in the foyer. The apartment has high ceilings and hardwood floors. The building was built in 1845.

My tree lined block attracts professionals, publishers, celebrities, writers, etc. One of the safest neighborhoods in the city, with low-key round the clock activity. My street is relatively quiet, unlike those south of Washington Square. With its high concentration of original period architecture, individual historic-designated townhouses, and beautifully maintained trees and plantings, my street is thought by many to be one of the finest in Manhattan.
