Very large well-appointed apartment with the finest furnishings and art, one and half blocks on one side from Central Park (biking, boating, etc.), two and half blocks on the other side from Riverside Park, the Hudson River and bike path which runs the entire length of Manhattan Island. Two Metros are a block and half on each side of us, a ten minute ride to cinemas, Lincoln Center Opera and Philharmonic Hall, Carnegie Hall and Broadway theaters. A twenty minute walk to it all. Our Upper West Side neighborhood is wonderful with lots of restaurants, markets, and even patisseries. We have a doorman for the building, and a live-in superintendent for repairs. It is truly an ideal location to enjoy Manhattan.
Neighborhood is described above.
I am a Hollywood feature film screenwriter and director, and have recently finished shooting a film in Paris, where I am now in post-production in Paris and Munich. (You can Google my name for more info.) My wife is a psychotherapist. We have five grown children ages 42 to 30, all with partners. We bike, play tennis, go for walks, go out with friends, and have recently become involved in rather intense Scrabble and Chess competitions between us. Having had a home in Paris for nearly 20 years, we, of course, love France, and over the years (I first came to Paris in May 1968) have traveled through many departments, from Brittany to Pays Basque, where we have been spending our Augusts in St. Jean de Luz. We have many French friends, a number of them through my work in film, and spend as much time with them as we can, one of our real pleasures.
