About our home

Family apartment in Gramercy Park neighborhood, ideal for family with older children/couple(s). Great location, comfortable living. Pleasant and comfortable apartment with all amenities, located in Gramercy Park. Third bedroom is used as a den/library (books/TV/DVD/ desk with computer etc.) but has a sofa bed if needed. Second bedroom has two single beds and adjacent full bathroom. Master has a king bed and en suite bathroom. Living room, full dining room (table seats 6 comfortably) Full kitchen with small table and room for four to sit. Separate laundry room in apartment and bigger machines in basement. Full gym in basement. Suitable for a family though perhaps not very young children as ours are teenagers so no safety gadgets. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter, a cosy apartment you'll be pleased to relax in after exploring the city and before heading to one of the many excellent restaurants nearby. New York has all that a city should have to offer, and much of it within walking distance or a short subway ride (no. 6 line right across the street). Theaters museums, restaurants, cinema, shops, books stores, food stores, coffee shops, the Green market at Union Square etc. Easy access to both rivers with walking/running/biking paths, parks and other activities. Can take trains to beaches on Long Island in the summer, or take day trips out to the many parks and recreational areas around the city by car or train. Two hours takes you to the heart of antiquing in upstate New York, three hours to the beauties of the Berkshires, including skiing in the winter.

Features

More about us

  1. We are a family of four, with two teenage daughters.

  2. We travel regularly to England and ski destinations in the US.

  3. New to home exchange, we're keen to travel to other cities, to the countryside, beach or mountains. Our apartment is well proportioned, light, not bright and we have a dog (although she will be gone, anyone with allergies should note this). The Location is perfect and the nearby Park provides a quiet respite from the busy city streets.
