About our home

Ranch style, single story, two bedroom, two bath home on one acre with a view of the Intracoastal Waterway. Bedrooms have queen size beds with lovely views of the water when you are in bed. Two full sized bathrooms, one with separate shower and tub and one with shower in tub. Fully equipped kitchen. Internet and cable. We have a dock and swimming pool, with a large private garden filled with trees and flowering shrubs. Beautiful views of the Indian River (Intracoastal Waterway) and garden from all the windows. A covered porch with comfortable furniture and a table to eat out of doors if you like. There are water birds, dolphin and manatee in the water and this part of the lagoon is a favorite for sailing regattas. Close to beaches.

Our house is located on an acre between the Indian River Lagoon and US Hwy 1. Most of the houses to the north and south of us are on similar size lots. We walk at a large park with three lakes, picnic sites, trails in the woods, playground for children, archery, camping etc. located five minutes away from the house. It would be inconvenient to not have a car here because US Hwy 1 is a busy road, giving you quick access along the west side of the Intracoastal to interesting towns located up and down the coast. Many beaches only minutes away, offer surfing, salt water fishing, swimming, boating etc. Golf courses and driving ranges too. Orlando, with all it's attractions, including Disney World, is only an hour away. Big name entertainment can be found at the King Center five minutes away. Three small historical districts with antique shops, small theaters and restaurants in close proximity.

We are a retired airline pilot and artist. I still dabble in a small studio beside the house. We both love to read, travel and stay out of the city. My husband loves to fish. Our two children live about an hour away and we have five grandchildren ranging in age between six and fourteen. They all love to water ski, surf, golf and would be happy to help you with those activities if you wish.
