Our comfy abode can best be described as country chic in the city suburbs. Just a 5 minute drive from the Florida Turnpike/Palmetto which will get you to the most touristy places in 30 minutes. Perfect for families and couples who want a change of pace without the hectic Miami party spots. Don't get us wrong--Brickell, Wynwood, South Beach, Downtown give the city its pizazz, but sometimes you want to visit for a few hours, then retreat into a tree-lined, quiet neighborhood where you can really relax. You'll have all the amenities and fully-stocked shopping centers are very close at hand, and we are more than happy to help with itinerary planning. Miami is really one-of-a-kind!

We're a couple of high school English teachers that are looking for a change of pace (and mountains, and hiking!) during the summers.
We have two small, wonderful dogs named Tinky and Allie.
Our home is located in a quiet suburb in Miami that is ideally located - midway between the cultural hot spots and the outdoors adventures South Florida has to offer.
The community has access to a small pool located directly behind our house and a park, lake, larger pool, jacuzzi, recreation center, playground and tennis courts are just a 5 minute walk away. There's even indoor rock climbing at a nearby center.
Our place is ideally situated because you'll find yourself mid-way for outdoorsy day trips and cultural hot spots. On the one hand, you're only 30 minutes from The Keys (best reefs) and cool funky spots in Homestead/Redlands and Everglades - all great for fishing. On the other hand, you're also only 30 minutes away from the tourist attractions.
We are very active - both outdoors and in the cultural/music scene, and we'd be happy to give you contacts and recommendations for an amazing itinerary. Everything from choice fishing guides, snorkeling/scuba diving into coral reefs, Wynwood Arts district, live music venues, South Beach or the calmer Surfside, best restaurants in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, kayaking, biking trails, and much more, we've got you covered!
