About our home

Our house is located on a quiet street a little over a mile from downtown Newport, RI. We are in a desirable neighborhood close to beaches and shopping. House has large shaded yard, and patio. Charming rooms, living room, dining room, fully applianced kitchen. 4 bedrooms 2 full baths. The house if located on Easton's point, a small peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean.
There are many events in Newport during the summer, beautiful ocean breezes, and beautiful views. House is family friendly and very comfortable.

Easton's point is one of the most desirable locations on Aquidneck Island. Perpendicular to our street, is St. George's Preparatory School, with acres of land for walking and viewing the spectacular views of the East Bay. Bus transportation runs to Newport and the beaches. Areas for walking, biking, surfing, kyackying and windsurfing all within a couple of miles. The historical city of Newport is the sister city of Kinsale, Ireland. Noted for it's beautiful mansions, historic buildings, and craggy coast line this town has been home to the rich and famous as well as the Irish Immigrants who built many of the stuctures. It has been said there isn't a bad restaurant in Newport. There are a multitude of individual and unique shops that carry everything from sea shells to seltzer!

We are Edward and Irene Lang, parents of 4 grown sons. Ed, whose parents immigrated from Ireland worked in health care administration is now retired. I am an advanced practice nurse in Psychiatry and teach at the Community College and prescribe for a service organization. We traveled to Ireland for our 40th Anniversary and fell in love with the country. We are returning for a Family Wedding in July. Ed has cousins in Belfast and Donnegal. It will be great seeing everyone again.
