About our home

We just completed our dream home in 2009. It is stunningly beautiful beyond imagination! Our home is warm, modern, green-built, open and breathtakingly lovely. It is like a mini-hotel. The views of the Puget Sound (salt water) and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains can be enjoyed from nearly every room. The sunsets here are ever-changing and awe-inspiring. Our home is tricked out with an incredible kitchen, 3 flat-screen TVs. We have beautiful outdoor space, too (deck, covered patio, open air patio, grass lawn, real teepee) Second, the location is utterly unparalled. We sit on an old growth forest's edge just above beautiful Alki beach (think beach volleyball, bonfires, fabulous restaurants, walking/cycling the boardwalk)... yet we are mere minutes to downtown Seattle! West Seattle is the coolest, grooviest, most down-to-earth neighborhood in Seattle. It also has amazing restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping, parks. This is Seattle at its best.

More about us

  1. We are a family of four with two smart, kind, fantastic boys (7 and almost 4).

  2. Brian is a software entrepreneur & Janine is a real estate broker. We practice yoga almost daily.

  3. We love natural beauty and exploring new things. We are well travelled and extremely respectful. For our first swap we would prefer to be in-city in either London, Copenhagen or France. The possibilities for 2011 are endless. Thank you!
