About our home

We live in a three bedroom, two story home. The main level has a living room, dining room, den (with a sofa-sleeper), kitchen & W/C. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a study & a full bath. The basement is finished. There is a single bed & two large comfortable couches (good for sleeping. The back yard is mostly one large garden. It has a playfort & sandbox, good for preschoolers & young school age kids. We have a very friendly cat.

More about us

  1. We are a family of four (two children ages 7 & 5). Parents have done a lot of travel & now want to get the children going. We are open to exchanges that would fit into school breaks: Christmas/New Year, spring break (late March) & summer (June - August).

Where is it?

This is a great Minneapolis neighborhood, called the Longfellow neighborhood. In winter, we are very close to an excellent sledding hill, outdoor hockey rinks, urban crosscountry skiing, & snowshoeing. In summer, the many city lakes, parks & playgrounds are easy to reach by walking, bike, bus or car. It's easy to reach downtown, the University of Minnesota, & the lightrail to the Mall of America and the airport. Minneapolis has more theaters per capita than almost any other city in the US. There are also world class art museums, such as the Walker & the Minneapolis Insitute of Art.
