About our home

Our duplex is very comfortable and close to all the wonderful charms of Charleston. It has two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. It has a newly remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops. It has a yard with a large live oak, which keeps the house warm in winter and cool in summer. The screened in porch is ideal for outdoor dining. There are kayaks, bicycles, and a car available for your use. There is a second home that you may also use. It is in Meadville, PA, very close to Erie, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland and two hours from Niagara Falls; two hours from skiing; six hours from Washington, D.C. and seven hours from New York City. There are bicycles and cars available here also.

Neighbourhood

Our house has ample parking and is located in a quiet neighborhood in what is called the "Old Village." It is six blocks from the Charleston Harbor where there is a kayak launch, fishing, crabbing, and views of Charleston and Fort Sumter. It is an easy bike ride to Sullivan's Island and other beaches. Also, it is a relaxing bike ride through the "Old Village" to restaurants, nature boardwalks, and Shem Creek, which has additional restaurants, kayaking, and more. The area abounds with recreational activities including golf, boating, etc. It is just a five minute drive to downtown Charleston which has great restaurants, shopping, site seeing, and more.
