About our home

We live in a small town situated among the Amish and Mennonite community. We are 1.5 hours from Philadelphia and 1 from Harrisburg. Everyday horse and buggys pass by our front porch! Our neighbors are lovely and helpful-the town is very peaceful and quiet.
We have 3 br 1 bath and available for any holiday 2006-2007 for 8 days. Our home is very Ikea-esque and CLEAN.We are willing to consider a car swap as well so you can save on a rental! Unlimited internet and phone use.

We are 15 minutes from Hershey PA (Home of Hershey chocolate). The streetlamps are shaped like Hershey kisses and the smell of cocoa permeates the air! There are many free/nearly free attractions there that include a museum, factory tour and 3-D show.
Harrisburg is booming with museums and galleries-The state capital is lovely to tour as well.
Philly-What ISNT there to do in Philly? See the Art Museum,Boaters Row, The Franklin Institute (Fun for kids and Grown-ups,too!)
In Lancaster you can visit real working Amish farms and shop in their quilt and goods stores. The quality is amazing!

My Husband is from Fuerth,Germany and we are trying to make a trip back. We have a toddler that would be traveling as well.I am a Youth Counselor and my Husband is in Environmental Science. We are a very clean younger couple trying to live as simply and peacefully as we can. My husband speaks some German.
