About our home

My historic building is home to a modern art gallery and studio on wonderful Magazine Street. Upstairs is it's own private world. Twelve foot ceilings with Hunter ceiling fans and functioning floor to ceiling windows that open to a sidewalk width wraparound porch. All unfinished brick walls, and hardwood floors with original artwork. Separate private entrance with Electronic key less entry, alarm, and video entry system make this city abode functional as well as safe. We're within walking distance to CBD and French Quarter as well as some of the finest bars and Zagat rated restaurants. A Sterns and Foster double pillow top mattress in firm with down filled duvets, Euro shams and wool blackout lined curtains make it easy to sleep late. It is listed as a one bedroom but it does in fact have two bedrooms the second with an upholstered French daybed suitable for sleeping one. I'm ready to share my very special space with someone who wants to take in this wonderful city and experience life as a local. Also bar and fridge can be stocked upon request. Housekeeping cleans once per week. Simultaneous swap not necessary.
