Just 6 blocks from the St. Charles Ave. streetcar and the lovely antebellum homes that New Orleans is famous for. Jump on the streetcar & head downtown to the Superdome or the French Quarter!

Walk or bike to the Mardi Gras parades (10 blocks) - the apt is very close to the Uptown parade routes...Muses, Orpheus, Bacchus and many others! This area is a nice, 'family friendly' part of the parade route ;-)

Skip the car and walk to the famous St. Charles Avenue street Car with easy access to downtown and the French Quarter. If you prefer to drive, the house is less than 5 min by car/cab from the shopping & restaurants on Magazine Street, Golf at Audubon Park, The Audubon Zoo, The Prytania Movie Theater, and Whole Foods Grocery Store. Venture a little further & you can check out the Aquarium, or just sit & watch the mighty Mississippi River roll on by.

If you are on foot, Casual meals are 200 feet away at Dat Dog, or sushi at Origami...further down the road are Company Burger, Saritas Grill, High Hat, Midway Pizza, Ancora, Freret St. PoBoy's, Village Coffee, etc. Grab a hand crafted cocktail or small batch bourbon at CURE or listen to some live music at 2 of New Orlean's newest music venues, Publiq House and GasaGasa. The apt is the entire ground floor of a two story shotgun double. There is a fenced backyard and a BBQ out back. There is also a charming porch on the front of the house where you can watch the world go by.

Set up as a family home, there are two queen beds and one full bed in the three bedrooms. There is also a full sized sleeper sofa in the living room. In addition, I do have some twin roll-a-way beds if you want to pull those out for extra guests or kids. Altogether, the apt will accommodate 8 people.

There is a Roku system and TV in the living room and wifi is also included.

There are three sofas and a desk in the living room.

The single driveway will accommodate 3 cars, stacked, or you can usually find street parking out front.

Fully equipped stainless steel kitchen with everything you need.... gas stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice & water dispensers in the door. Laundry room front loading LG washer & dryer too!
