“You must know, it was our very first home exchange ever. So, the general expectations from my family were a bit a mixture and like to go to an unknown. We just did not know, how this will go in another family's home you know. Sleeping in somebody Else's bed etc. I must say, it was fantastic at the end. We have spent a week in Belgium finally. Brussels was the best starting point to drive and visit the most important places in this beautiful country. We have seen Antwerpen, Bruges, Ostende, Zeebrugge, Brussels (twice). I think, in 1 week time this is quite a nice program. The house itself, I think is a typical Belgian (brussels merchandise type) house, most probably from the 19th century. Having 3 levels and a small, comfortable, private inside garden. The kitchen is fully equipped, but we did not use it too much, as we have visited those fantastic nearby restaurants which were available. Italian, Spanish ones are really closeby. Once we have been in the Street of Butchers of course, as well. So, at the end of the day, I would kindly recommend this fantastic opportunity for those, who would like to feel the real Brussels downtown life and features once, as we did. The owner is an artist and a clean, tidy and an absolutely fair person. Recommended 100% !!”
