Hello -
I live in a big and bright one bedroom apartment near Union Square and bordering West Village, Chelsea, and Flatiron areas and offering my apartment while I am away.
Looking for BRAZIL during Carnival / Carnaval. My apartment is YOURS between Feb 10th and Feb 18th. I will only be in Rio from FEB 14th to FEB 17th, so thats .
The apartment has very high ceilings with huge windows, southern exposure with tons of light, shiny hardwood floors, wireless internet, cable with dvr, flat screen tv, and AC in living room and bedroom. The queen bed is very comfortable with feather bed, high thread count sheets, down comforter and the bedroom also has huge windows. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and bright. The building and its neighbors are nice and the apartment is on the 11th floor, giving you wide open views of downtown.
An important note - I do have a cat who would be at home during your visit. Nothing is required of you except for making sure she has food and water in her bowl. She is very affectionate and will want to say hello. She is super fun and everyone loves her.
Definitely looking for someone who is respectful and clean. I take pride in my apartment and have a housekeeper who comes in a few times a month.

The apartment is a 1/4 block to 3 blocks max from all major Manhattan subway lines (NRWQ123FV456LACE). Union Square park, all the charm of Greenwich Village, Whole Foods, Westside Market, Washington Square, lower Fifth Ave shopping (7, Banana Republic, Zara, H&M, Puma, etc) are all steps away. You can also walk or take a quick subway or cab to the East Village, Soho, etc. If you're flying in, you can take the train from JFK or Newark to Penn Station, which is 10 minutes by subway.
