About our home

The Home: We have a studio apartment in a classic pre-war Manhattan building. Sleeps 2 on queen-sized bed in alcove (separated from the rest of the apartment by a high wall). Fully equipped kitchen. Decorated with art and folk art from our travels in Italy and Mexico. Located near the corner of the ninth floor, the apartment is very light and has long, open views looking south. The building is very secure with a 24 doorman and full laundry. No smoking. 42” high definition television, DVD/CD player, and internet (wifi) available. Our building in on a main street which is well lighted and very safe.

We also have a condominium on the Pacific Coast of Mexico which is available for trade.

The Neighborhood: Our building is located in the Chelsea district of Manhattan West Side in the 20's three blocks from the Hudson River. This is a central location for Manhattan attractions. By taxi cab Greenwich Village is five minutes, the Broadway theater district is 15 minutes; Pennsylvania Station (railroad) is 5 minutes; Grand Central Station is 20 minutes. Major subway lines are a two, three, or four block walk. There are numerous restaurants of all price ranges and types of food nearby, including a group of world class restaurants in the Meat Market within a 10 to 15 minutes walk. Within 6 blocks there are more than a 100 modern art galleries. There is a shopping district with large discount stores four blocks east and an enormous indoor and outdoor recreation center three blocks west built on old shipping piers on the Hudson River. Also, there is a greenway with walking, jogging, and biking paths along the length of the Hudson going both north and south with spectacular views.

Who We Are: We are 2 adults, a married couple. We are management and fund raising consultants who work with nongovernmental organizations. We are both in our early 60's. We are experienced traders.
