About our home

Our home is a two-story apartment that features a large open living/dining area and kitchen upstairs and a cozy family room downstairs. In addition to three full bedrooms, there are sofa beds in both the family room and living room. Two full baths--one on each floor. Two computers (one Mac one PC) with hi-speed. Air conditioned. For the musicians a nice piano. It is a very family friendly, comfortable home located on a wide sunny street with nice sun in the morning and afternoon.

More about us

We are Murray and Carol, both Manhattan-based professionals working in higher education and non-profit, and music. We have three kids (ages 13-16). We like movies, dining, outdoor activities, baseball, jazz, and New York City. We would like somewhere warm and sunny--Florida or the Caribbean--for Christmas, next Feb. or April. We'd like Europe in summer of 08. We will consider non-simultaneous swapping. Email us and let's get to know one another.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are in one of Brooklyn's coolest neighborhoods--only a few minutes walk to the Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park--where you can find the zoo, open meadows, woodsy walks, paddle boats on a lake, and a beautiful old carosel. Only a few blocks away is trendy Park Slope with many great restaurants and shops. Great weekend farmer's market. Five minutes walk to several subway lines gets you to Manhattan in 15 minutes.
