French country home style. 2 Bedroom apartment in prewar walk up building with lots of charme and light in Gramercy Park. 2 bedrooms, formal dining room, livingroom, kitchen and an alcove office make this a fab Manhattan retreat with lots of character. There are no doorman and no elevator so you’ll be walking 4 flights of stairs, ie. 64 steps.
Don’t expect luxury, but it’s very comfortable, clean, charming and has amazing light with 11 large windows with agreat views of the Empire State building. My home since 1990 is furnished in an eclectic style, with hardwood floors
Full kitchen (basic cooking tools)

I love this neighborhood. There is Gramercy Park, the only private park in NYC, which you can’t enter but great to walk around. My favorite is Madison Park right next or on your way the N train. Union Square is very close and huge with interesting surrounding restaurants, shops.
The variety and quality is impressive in this neighborhood with budget and medium prices. Lexington is actually called little India with about 20 restaurants to choose from. I have favorites but I’ll let you explore.
My name is Daniel. I am a 46 years old Canadian living in New York since 1987. I am a businessman and travel a lot.
