About our home

This is our one bedroom pied-à-terre in the city. Newly renovated modern apartment with no clutter. The apartment is on the second floor in a building with elevator overlooking a small courtyard.
The neighborhood has many great restaurants and boutiques. Soho is 5-10 mins walk.
The apartment is approx 550 sqft and it can accomodate 2 adults in the bedroom and up to 2 young children in the living room (only if your children don't mind to sleep on the inflatable mattress).
The kitchen is equipped with microwave, dishwasher, all necessary eating utensils. There is a 46' TV with DVD player but with no cable service. There is free Wifi.

Features

More about us

  1. We love travel! We're a family of 4 with 2 boys (14yrs and 10yrs old).

  2. We love home design. My husband and I are both in the finance industry.

  3. We hope to swap with couple or family who will treat our home like theirs. We're flexible on the exchange time slot. The swap doesn't have to happen simultaneously.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
So many to list.. recently been to Freemans Restaurant and highly recommend
Cool bars
Personally don't really go to bars but I know there are many in the neighborhood
Cozy cafés
Cafe Habana is always crowded. Emporio on Mott St has pretty skylight at the back of the restaurant
Retail therapy
Soho is only few blocks away and it's a shopping paradise
Bit of culture
New Museum on Bowery St., Tenement Museum on Orchard St. is something different
Walks in the park
There are many small parks/playground in the area but if looking for big park, need to go uptown to Central Park
Spot of exercise
Walking around in nyc is the best exercise
Day tripping
Spend a day in Brooklyn is always interesting
