Our home is located in the tree lined area of the West Village/Greenwich Village in Manhattan. This is the most desirable area of Manhattan. It is quite, quaint, cobble stone streets, historic and beautiful brownstones and near by the best food and entertainment. We are located within walking distance of almost everything downtown. There are major subway lines two blocks away should you chose public transportation. The Hudson River and the wonderful walk along it is three blocks away, which also provides wonderful fresh air to our home.
December in Manhattan is perhaps one of the best times of the year to be in New York City. Everyone has full holiday cheer, the city is happy and decorated throughout, the snow if it's here is in the beautiful stage of its fall. The holidays are magical here and so is New Years Eve in the West village.
My fiance and I have created a beautiful and romantic oasis for us to enjoy, away from the bustle of Manhattan, while still being able to enjoy to wonderment of living in NYC. I am a professional songwriter and my fiance is an attorney. We both love to cook. We appreciate the finer things in life, top on our list is fine food, wine, antiques, special places and beautiful surroundings. However we are not guided by things but by quality of experience. When not in the city we love to be out on the water, surfing, sailing etc.
My fiance and I have made the choice to go on a month long trip in December in lieu of a hosting a wedding. We would like to do an exchange for the entire month of December, in either Hawaii or Bali, in a wonderful place that is near by or on the water. This is a special opportunity for us to be able to offer our home for this period of time, and the month of December in New York City is a wonderful place to be.
