Our home is comfortable, cozy, and in a great location - East Village - Downtown New York. It has a small full kitchen, a nice large living room with adjoining dining room. The windows overlook a large garden, with lots of trees and open space (something amazing to believe in NYC).
The bedroom is relatively large, with a nice size bathroom.
If you like to entertain a small group they will be all very comfortable. Around the block you can gave a great view of the East River, across the street is the bus stop, a couple of blocks north you will have also the subway.
We love spending time in our home and having friends over, it is warm and inviting. But as good New Yorkers we also have a lot of activities going on in the city and we try to enjoy it as much as we can.
We offer a large bedroom, with a king size bed, and plenty of space to blow up another single bed air-mattress.
In the Living room the sofa accommodates well another person and we have other mattress, in case it's needed.
Our Dining room table will fit well six people seated, it's a very special apartment with a bit urban taste of the city and nice country side views from the window.
We have a huge communal garden with Fountain and plenty of lawn for picnics.
If you are lucky, you can also manage to find a parking spot in front of the building complex.
It's a very nice apartment, with wooden floor, and high ceilings. We also have elevator in the building, all the electrical and plumbing are newly renovated.
We are Michael & Alessandra, a couple with a cat Kitty. We are both professionals (financial analyst and a legal advisor) that enjoy traveling and meeting other people.
This is the first time we try a home exchange and we are very much exited about the possibility of finding a good home and a nice adventure to tell our friends.
We do not need much time in advance. We are very organized and clean, but we would to be contact a couple days, or even if possible a couple weeks before doing the swap. This would allow us to find similarity and leave a nice program for our new friends/guests that would suit better their interests.
Situated in the East Village, close to great restaurants, wonderful theaters, good and unique shopping.
Around the block you can gave a great view of the East River, across the street is the bus stop, a couple of blocks north you will have also the subway station.

It is a most see! Steps away from the Union square and the best Organic Supermarkets and Farmers market in Town. Close to Soho and all it's night life.
Many artists, singers and actors live around, and shop around the neighborhood.
