About our home

Location is everything. We really love our place. We walk everywhere, which in Orange County is a rare thing. We have a 'real' village, and shopping is truely only 1 minute away. We are on a bluff above the "back bay" which lets out into beautiful Newport Harbor, the scenic loop walk is only 5 minutes away. Beaches are a 5 minute drive, Disneyland 15 mins, LA 1 hr, San Diego attractions 2 hrs, OC Airport 10 mins. Treat yourselves to worldclass shopping and theater within 10 minutes drive. 'Surf City', Huntington Beach is only 10 mins down beautiful 'PCH' Pacific Coast Highway (a road, not really a highway).

More about us

We are a young, active couple who fell in love with Europe especially Ireland, I kissed the ground in Dun Leary (sorry about the spelling) where we landed from Holy Head. My wife is an artist looking to return perhaps for a residency, myself, for the memories i'll build there. we have a daughter (10) who loved it as well. I'm a teacher at a local high school, my wife an art therapist and teacher. I love to read history and comic stories, write, and go walking.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

You're off 17th Street in Newport Beach, an old established part of town. The shops are upscale, fine dining along PCH is only a 5 minute drive to Corona Del Mar, another community along the shore. Coves and Beaches line the coast from where you are. You are within 5 mins walk of a beautiful loop scenic walk along the bluff overlooking the back bay and Fashion Island. Yachts are on parade and the rowing clubs in practice. We like a family run italian hide-out, "Garduno's" for dinner within 5 minutes walk, and Thai food along PCH, and of course worldclass Sushi, just about anywhere.
