About our home

2020 or 2021 - really hoping to visit Spain, Croatia, Slovenia

Prepare to be wowed on arrival! The contemporary, inspired design of this home is a real show-stopper. But step inside and you’ll be even more impressed.

The huge living room features dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, chic furnishings, a dry bar and a gorgeous full size 6 foot Steinway piano. Outdoors, a sprawling garden features seating areas, a fire pit and trampoline for kids (and kids at heart).

Ready to explore the neighborhood? The Rose Bowl is just a 5-minute drive away, while shopping, restaurants bars and cafes await at nearby Old Town Pasadena.

The height of 21st century chic, our open-concept living space creates that “Wow, I chose well!” feeling as soon as you walk in.

This cavernous, light-filled room features floor-to-ceiling windows, cushiony couches and dark wood panelling. Fix yourself a drink from the dry bar, then gather around the gorgeous Steinway piano at the heart of the room.

Groups will also love the open outdoor area, with a large backyard, seating areas, fire pit, and trampoline. But if you’re after your own space, a second living room with a wall-mounted flat screen offers privacy and comfort.

It’s all walnut-wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances in the spacious kitchen, continuing the stylishly chic vibe of the downstairs. A gleaming white marble island features 4 bar stools. Uncork a fruity California pinot while dinner bubbles on the stove.

As for sleeping space? 5 bedrooms comfortably sleep 13.

Grab the master if you can—it’s huge! And a king size bed with en-suite brings comfort and convenience. The remaining 3 bedrooms are all tastefully furnished.

The remaining 3 bedrooms upstairs:
• Room 1 has an en suite bathroom with queen bed
• Room 2 has a full size bed + twin trundle
• Room 3 has a full size bed

Rooms 2/3 share a bathroom on the hall.

The basement room is perfect for families with young ones with a king size bed and a twin/trundle combination.

And rest assured, you’ll never be short of space to get showered and ready—our home has a total of 6 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite.

We’re just a 5-minute drive to the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium, situated within Arroyo Seco Park. Head here to enjoy hiking, hit the tennis courts, picnic or take the kids to the children’s play area.

You’ll also want to put aside time to explore buzzing Old Town Pasadena - only 6 minutes’ drive from our house. Hit high street shops and designer stores, grab a bite at one of countless restaurants, or watch the world go by in an atmospheric bar or cafe.

From Old Pasadena you can take a 20 minute train to downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) for great restaurants, museums and music. The Broad, Walt Disney Concert Hall, MOCA are clustered in DTLA.

It's a 20 minute drive to Universal Studios and Universal Citywalk, 25 minutes to Six Flags Magic Mountain and 45 minutes (make sure you don't drive during traffic) to Disneyland. It's 30 minutes to Beverly Hills and 30 minutes to Santa Monica beach.

The charm of Pasadena makes it a destination amongst Angelenos. It's a fun suburb but close to all the vast attractions in Los Angeles!

Where is it?

In our neighborhood you'll find mature tree-lined streets and people walking up and down the street with their dogs. There is newly renovated park within 5 short blocks (Linda Vista Park) and we are very close to the Rose Bowl. Even though our street is fairly busy, people often remark how the bucolic back garden makes people feel like they are far away from the city.
