Nice & spacious town house in a great community. 2 minutes from the metro and the main highway 495 & 270 that you can bring you in or out the city in just few minutes.
Restaurants and mall are close by and there is easy access to downtown Washington D.C. with museums, theater and shopping. There is a bicycle path that pass thru the community and will bring you downtown Washington DC. 2 minutes from the downtown Bethesda and the Strathmore music center.
In front of the house we have 2 tennis court and a big swimming pool.
The house is a modern town house well equipped with big screen, pool table & 2 decks (with BBQ).
It's light-filled with 4 bedrooms (1 master), a family room, a kitchen, play room with pool table, living room and dining room. All the house is covered with wireless internet access.
we are in a private community, quiet and peaceful. A 20 minute drive or an easy subway ride to many of the historic sites of Washington DC, including the Smithsonian Museums, presidential memorials, Georgetown and the hip U Street shopping and dining district. Washington has numerous free or low-cost cultural events in the summer that are perfect for families and a great arts scene that includes many theaters and night clubs. Across the river is Virginia and the nearby horse country with civil war battle sites, antebellum mansions, vineyards and the beautiful Shenandoah National Park. Interesting area for students of history, culture and art. Two-hour trip to the beach on the Atlantic coast (Dewey, Rehobeth) and world-class river rafting in West Virginia; doable one-day drive to other east coast cities (Philadelphia, New York).
We are journalist & photographer. We love to travel and read (we have wide variety of history, mystery and art books). Kids (2 girls age 4 & 7) have rooms full of toys and board games to keep visiting kids (and parents) entertained during evenings. We look forward to exchanging with the right family and are willing to help you have a great experience here in the Washington area.
