About our home

Our home is an oasis within the heart of NELA (Northeast Los Angeles - also known as the hippest new neighborhoods in LA).

The property is enclosed with a tall wooden gate and surrounded by lush greenery offering respite and seclusion from the vibrant atmosphere nearby. Stunning sunsets pour in to the kitchen/dining area every night but are best enjoyed with the doors open for the classic indoor-outdoor vibe of LA. Once the sun sets you can relax on the deck and light the outdoor fireplace. The design aesthetic is an eclectic mix of color and styles with lots of natural light during the day and dimmers that allow you to create the perfect mood in every room. The house is very clean and we ask that you keep it the same.

We are a block from Occidental College where we often hike, walk, and lounge around the beautifully manicured grounds. The school also has a working garden with chickens where the kids love to visit and play.

We are walking distance to York Ave in Highland Park & Colorado Ave in Eagle Rock as well as a short drive to Figueroa Ave in Highland Park (our personal favorite), Atwater Village, Silverlake, Echo Park, Pasadena, Hollywood, and many more.

Neighbourhood

Eagle Rock and Highland Park are truly the Brooklyn of Los Angeles. Filled with hip restaurants, buzzy bars and great galleries. There is great hiking a short 15 minute drive, beaches 30-45 mins without traffic. Parks, beaches, sunshine, it's all here!
