About our home

My condo is located at the heart of some of NYC most desirable neighborhoods and apartment buildings. The exclusive areas of Turtle Bay, Sutton Place, midtown, the East River and the United Nations (across the street) surround this luxurious building. It was home to famous Hollywood icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Katherine Hepburn and legendary writers Truman Capote and Arthur Miller. The area continues to attract discriminating well-helled, foreigners, and diplomats who want tree-lined, residential streets, parks and cultural institutions as a part of their daily lives. It is minutes away from shopping meccas: Bloomingdale's, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and a plethora of shops along Fifth Avenue and 57th Street where one can find any speciality shop desired. Have your choice of Manhattan's finest restaurants, just steps from your door: Le Cirque, the Four Seasons, Monkey Bar, Alto and Oceana. Getting around Manhattan is simple from from this chic location:You can walk to Rockerfeller Center, St Patrick's Cathedral, 5th Avenue, Radio City, the Empire State Building, MOMA, Greenwich Village, SOHO, Carnegie Hall, Queensboro Bridge, Midtown Tunnel, Central Park, Bryant Park, or the theatre district. The Guggenheim, Lincoln Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cloisters, Museum of Natural History, the Frick Collection, Brooklyn Bridge, Mahattan Bridge and Ellis Island are just 10 minutes by bus or subway. The FDR Drive is readily accessible, as are both downtown and uptown bus services. The subway is also convenient, as the number 4 and 6 trains are located at the Lexington Avenue-51st Street Station, and the E and M trains are located at the Lexington 53 Street Station. In addition, Grand Central Station is only a short walk from the apartment. The building services include: a doorman, concierge and elevator assistance, who are at your disposal for twenty four hours, seven days a week. The apartment is 890 square feet of sunny, bright, living space: entry foyer, large living/dining room with floor to ceiling sliding door going out to the first balcony. The living room balcony has East river views. The apartment is equipped with sofa, chairs and wall unit, TV (cable), stereo, dining table, credenza, & breakfront for dishes. The kitchen has a sub zero refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and all appliances. The bedroom also has a floor to ceiling sliding door which goes out to the 2nd balcony with East river and Chrysler building views. The bedroom has a TV, queen size bed, dressers, & large custom made closets. The marble bathroom is equipped with a shower, tub and Jacuzzi. The washers and dryers are located in the basement. Gym and garage are available for the building's fee. The entire building and apartment are IMMACULATE!!
