About our home

Our home was built in 2007 and sits in the center of 6 acres of privately owned land that has historic background from 7 generations past; with the family cemetery 4 miles away. Property is fully fenced and livestock and horses graze in the pasture. Our home is a rural retreat, however restaurants, shopping are approximately 25 minutes away, the Gulf of Mexico/Galveston Island is about 1 1/2 hours drive. Southeast Texas has diversity in its cultures and we are 20 minutes from Southwest Louisiana casinos. Take a road trip an hour north to fresh water lakes and visit "The Piney Woods" of east Texas. So if you are looking for a down home feeling of rual living with options within minutes, you will be pleasantly surprised at our home.
