We have many timeshare weeks available that can be exchanged through RCI resorts worldwide. Most resorts are near tourist centers and have pools, tennis courts, fitness centers and a variety of activities. Stays are for 7 nights, usually starting on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Available resorts can be seen at RCI.com. We will pay the exchange fee for you, and use one of our our banked weeks, when we confirm a home exchange with you. We can provide RCI recommendations. Places we have stayed include: Korea, Antigua Guatemala, Orlando Florida, Miami Florida, Vale Colorado, Washington DC, Williamsburg Virginia, Nashville Tennessee, Ontario Canada, and Providence Rhode Island. Some locations can be difficult to match (Disney World at Spring Break), but we can try. Frequently, we can find things best at the last minute.
The best thing about timeshare locations are the amenities. Almost all flats include a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, bedding and towels, sofa beds, cable TV and DVD players. We shop for groceries upon arrival and avoid the high cost of having to dine out for every meal. We can frequently match in to a two bedroom condo which sleeps between six and eight person, but smaller 1-bedroom and studio units are easier to match.
We have not done a home exchange before, but we have allowed family members to use our RCI works on many occasions and they have always loved it.
RCI units are usually in major tourist districts. In Orlando, we have stayed at three separate resorts and each was within a five minute drive of Disney World. In Miami, our condo was beach front. In Nashville, we were next door to Opry Mills. In Vale, we were in the heart of the town. In Williamsburg, we were a five minute drive from Historic Williamsburg. Parking is always included. Most resorts have good security, but the level of security depends upon the risk for the area. Swimming pools vary, but frequently include both indoor and outdoor pools. At Massanutten, near Washington DC, there is a large indoor water park that can be used by residents.
We are a family that loves to travel. We have been to all 50 U.S. states but would like for our children to experience more international destinations.
