About our home

This is a full home swap. Our home is rural, and it is not in pristine condition.

The pros:
This home is only a short drive to the ocean. The Makuu tide pools and cliffs are a 10 minute drive from the house. Black Sands beach (a little known local favorite) is about 20 minutes away

This is a fully funished, turn-key house. It is not in pristine condition. This is our family home, and it is well lived in. Has laundry facilities, kitchen, 3 bedooms, 2 bathrooms, and even 2 additional rooms (with beds).

This home is not like some other local rentals. Our home is on-grid, permitted, and on a paved road. This is an improvement over many off-grid options which are available.

We have a 2005 Honda Pilot available for rent, or trade. If you have a car to trade on your end, we could include our car.

This is an older home, and it is not in pristine condition. All of the pictures are recent, and many updates have been completed. But it is a work in progress. So do not expect 4 star accomodations. This is a well lived-in family home.

We have animals that live in the home part time of the year. So we welcome well mannered pets. If you have a pet allergy, this is probably not what you are looking for.
The house is clean, but it is an older home, with some issues, and there may be pet dander in the home. Contact me if you have any questions.

More about us

  1. Im a single dad, traveling with my 12 year old daughter, 9 year old son, and 7 year old daughter. Very well mannered children, they have traveled to 12 countries on 4 continents.

  2. I work as a consultant for bio-medical technology and pharmacuetical automation. I am retired and I work very little now. But I try to be available for former colleagues and some new clients. Mostly we just travel and see the wonderfully blessed world that we live in.

  3. I enjoy amatuer anthropology trips
