About our home

This rustic-modern home was built in fall of 2017 to suit our 6 person family. We’re amazingly clean people and appreciate the privacy and wooded surroundings of our home. Open floor plan and high ceilings let you stretch out and not feel cramped. The large covered front porch with a fire table is great for morning coffee and to watch the sunrise over the mountains. With a living room on each floor you can pick your spot to relax, play games, read or log on to Netflix. The open kitchen with large walk in pantry will suit whatever your culinary desires may be. From polished white quarts to honed black granite, this is no boring kitchen. Our pantry has almost every kitchen counter appliance you can think of: blender, juicer, kitchen aid mixer, toaster oven, rice cooker, food processor, waffle maker, insta pot, plug in skillet, etc. The coffee station for the morning doubles as the wine station in the evening and with our under the counter wine fridge, all your white wines will be chilled and ready when dinner is. All four bedrooms have large bay windows for all the sunlight you could ask for and boast plenty of closet space. The two full bathrooms upstairs each have double sinks and lots of droor space. Just a few minutes drive down the mountain into beautiful downtown Palmer with local shops and food. Tons of outdoor activities including, kayaking, hiking, bike riding, fishing, rafting, or just plain relaxing. The wood stove is great for evening time relaxation. The back yard is set up if you’re into target practice with firearms or a bow. A truly unique property with so much Alaskan life to offer. Anchorage is a quick 45 min drive for more of a city touch as well.

More about us

  1. We’re a mixed family of six. Tarrah and I(Daniel) have three girls and one boy. Kennedy, Hallie, Jericho and Israel ranging in age from 14-8

  2. Daniel(38) is a power lineman and Tarrah(32)is an educator at our children’s school.

  3. We’re all very physically active and love the outdoors. The kids all have their own passions from basketball to dance, track, soccer, reading and drawing. Tarrah is up with the sun and heading to one of the hiking trails by our house. I love to cook and we all love to experience new places and new faces. Game nights are always a riot with us. When Tarrah and I can get away, just the two of us, it’s usually for a quiet walk a sunset or a sunrise with coffee.
