About our home

This 1949 red brick ranch home is perfect for families, with views of Camelback Mountain from the front yard. Since it is located in central Phoenix, Arizona, it is of course equipped with air conditioning.

The living room features a flat screen, wall-mounted plasma screen television, with a modern leather sofa. The kitchen has granite countertops and hardwood floors, with new, stainless steel appliances and all the kitchen necessities any cook/baker could want. The floorplan of the main living areas of nice and open, with the kitchen/dining room and living room all open to each other.

The master bedroom has another queen bed with an adjoining bath with toilet, pedestal sink and travertine shower. The spare bedroom also has a queen bed. The nursery has a toddler bed.

The main bath has a bathtub/shower combination, with toilet and sink. A washer and dryer are available in the laundry room.

The backyard offers a covered patio with an outdoor patio table and furniture, an in-ground pool and a deluxe redwood swingset with play house and slide.

As stated in the caption, this home is in a great, central neighborhood of Phoenix, Arizona. It is a short, 10-15 minute drive from the airport, and is within walking distance of the famed Arizona Biltmore Fashion Square and Espalande, where shopping and dining choices are readily available. A major highway is within two miles, providing access to the rest of the "Valley of the Sun" as well as any other destination you would desire, including the Grand Canyon, which is only about 4-4 1/2 hours' drive away. The Grand Canyon is a breathtaking wonder of the world, which can only be appreciated in person.

I am a labor and employment attorney (defense), and my husband is an airline pilot. We have one daughter, who is nearly two and another baby on the way! We are looking for a a home to swap with another adventerous family like ours!
