We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2800 sf Cape Cod in central Portland, just 2 blocks from gorgeous Reed College campus. Hardwood floors, antiques, 2 fireplaces, big yard, newly redecorated, and lovely. Deceiving when you look at the photos--it really is quite large!
High-speed internet, laundry facilities, dishwasher, Premium cable TV, large yard.
Vaulted master suite with double bed and attached bath
2nd bedroom has a kid's twin loft bed
Gigantic basement bedroom includes a double bed and a working fireplace
Upstairs den has a futon that makes into a double bed
We have two teenaged kittens that live 100% indoors. Very low-maintenance, but their litter box has to be cleaned out every couple of days. If you'd rather, I'm happy to find them a 'vacation home' to stay at while you're at our house.
Inner SE Portland-Reed College neighborhood (my neighbor calls it Pleasantville!) This hidden gem of a neighborhood is adorable. Houses the colors of jelly beans, beautifully manicured lawns, very little traffic, and only 2 blocks to Reed College, one of the loveliest campuses anywhere. (No college-kid noise EVER--Reedies are famous for their studious ways, and I've yet to hear any indication that we're close to a college.)

We are a 46 year old single-mom special education teacher and her amazing 7 year old son. We are fun and relaxed, and love to discover new places. My son is an amazing musician, and he plays our piano incessantly (so can you!)
We love our two Siamese mix kittens, Fern and Helen, and our hermit crab, Mighty.
