About our home

Very quiet clean condo just two hours away from the mountains to the east and the ocean to the west. Minutes from downtown Portland, famous for its restaurants, the arts, and Powell's bookstore. Forest Park nearby is one of the biggest city parks in the U.S. Great for hiking and bird watching. Laundry and AC.

Beautiful Japanese landscaping with a large balcony (fourth floor) overlooking the woods. Close to the famous Pittock Mansion with a view of Portland, home of Portland State University and the Portland Trail Blazers. A short bus ride takes you to the Park blocks where you can enjoy multiple food carts and a huge Saturday market. Or walk along the Willamette River boardwalk, crossing two bridges to make a loop. Portland is a safe, clean "foodie" town and a bike riders delight with many off-road paved bike paths.

We are a semi-retired couple. He is the "semi", she is definitely retired. We like to travel, snorkel, SCUBA, fish, and bird watch. We have three grown children and one grandchild. We speak a little Spanish and German but are native English speakers.

More about us

  2. Larry is a pediatrician and Lynn is a retired speech-language pathologist

  3. We love nature, especially bird-watching, snorkeling, boating
