About our home

Our family home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. Main floor has a large kitchen-living area opening on the deck overlooking a large back yard that is private with many trees. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the office are also on the main floor. Downstairs offers 3 bedrooms and a nice entertainment room with pool table and TV (Netflix access). Number of beds: 1 king, 2 queen and 2 single beds.

  1. Hello,

    My husband is a professional photographer and I work in vaccine research for neglected diseases. Our 3 daughters are 22, 20, 17 years old and sometimes travel with us.
    We are originally from France but have been leaving in the Seattle area for more than 16 years.
    We have done more than 7 exchanges in the past as far as Australia and Fiji and always had wonderful experiences.
    We are non-smokers and very respectful of others' properties.

    We are looking for Whistler, BC for long week end at the end of November/beginning of December 2017, January, March or April 2018, Sedona (AZ) area, Louisiana, Austin (TX), South California (LA to San Diego) Belize, Hawaii, Caribbean Islands.

Where is it?


We live in a quiet, safe, well preserved neighborhood in the Seattle urban area across Lake Washington 20 minutes by bus or car from downtown Seattle.
Within 5 minute walk from our house is Idylwood Beach Park on Lake Sammamish for picnics, summer swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding...etc.
All shopping and farmer market is of easy access within 5-10 minutes drive.
Numerous tennis courts (free) and/or golf courses in the area.
Seattle is a great city to visit, all year around. It's vibrant and amazingly dynamic, offering outstanding parks, museums, fine dining, entertainment and a surprising underground city.
Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia, Starbuck Coffee...all these companies have their headquarters in the area and worth a visit.
Tacoma, world renowned for its glass artwork and for its antique car Le May museum is at your door, 45 minutes away by car.
The Pacific Northwest is renowned for its outdoor activities especially hiking, mountaineering (Mt Rainier), fishing, sailing, mountain biking, whale watching…etc.
